Sources of the GanttChart web part
Someone asked for the sources of the GanttChart web part. While I intend the part to be available for everyone free of charge, I haven't decided on any formal licence yet. I promise not to sue you if you use this code, both for commercial and non-commercial uses. You have no permission to remove the link to my blog from the editor interface, though. Everything provided "as is".
Download the sources here.
Oh, and if you create extensions or fixes that would serve not only yourself, it would be really nice if you share them too.

Is there a way to start the Gantt rendering from today's date (instead of the project 'start date') and only show a two or three month gap? My intent would be to show current projects that are active, but not all the way back to when they started... TIA
It would be very nice to have a grouping function where the title is. Example would be to group together CreatedBy items, etc.
@runningnetworks: If I am not mistaken, you can already do this. Just create the fgrouping in the view you are displaying and the Gantt chart will also display groupings. You cannot collapse/expand these groups, however; this turns out to be fairly difficult to do with the VML technology used.
does GanttChart Web part work with wss 3.0 coz the provided one is so poor and u can't zoom it to view task by month only not week.. ?
Now that the source code is out there, I'm thinking about recreating the original Gantt chart Web Part layout with it. I'll keep you posted...
